While the world was locked down…in the Fyne Den a young man, born and raised a few miles away, brought his talents and skills to the Den and created a world to surround our adventure zone inspired by the landscape and wild life surrounding us.
When the first visitors return this July, they can seek out familiar animals and birds, move from land to sea, from day to night, matching the colours with the views to the outside world.
Fin Barge has returned to base himself at his family home at Otterferry following qualifying as a landscape architect at Edinburgh University. He was worked on projects and murals across the country including murals at the Black Isle Brewery and a cobblestone mosaic at Kilchoman distillery.
During this May and June Fin was able to go into isolation at the Fyne Den and create a new mural specially designed to complement the play area.
Now we can’t wait for everyone to see it!
